What is Professional Package?
A professional package is a bundled loan product offering rate discounts, fee waivers (annual, application, valuation) and linked offset accounts — in exchange for an annual package fee, typically $300–$400.
Why it matters for you
Pro packs usually win for loans over $250K. Below $150K, the discount rarely offsets the annual fee. Always compare pro pack vs basic loan on 5-year total cost. Some lenders now offer competitive "basic" products without the pro pack overhead.
