Home loans / Registered nurses

Your next home starts with your situation.

Buying or refinancing as a registered nurse? Talk through your income, deposit and plans with Wity, so the home loan conversation starts with the details that matter to you.

Where you are now

Bring the whole picture to the conversation.

Your roster, employment arrangements and home plans are useful starting points. We work through the details before discussing which lending options may fit.

My pay changes with my shifts.

Start with what your records show.

Bring payslips that show your base pay, allowances and overtime, along with any changes to your roster. We can discuss what further evidence a lender may need rather than assume every part of your pay will be treated alike.

I’ve changed jobs or contracts.

Explain what has changed.

Tell us about your current role, contract and employment history, including any work across employers. Your adviser can work through the relevant lender requirements with your circumstances in view.

I’m still building my deposit.

Look at the full purchase budget.

Start with your available funds, intended property and purchase costs. We can check which deposit options may be relevant to your profession and situation under current lender criteria.

I’m deciding what to do next.

Choose the goal before the loan.

A first purchase, a move and a refinance raise different questions. Tell us what you want to change, including the repayments and features you want to consider alongside your other commitments.

What we work through

The details behind your loan options.

Your profession is one part of the conversation. Your income evidence, available funds and household commitments help shape the assessment.

Explore repayment scenarios
Income and employment evidence
Gather recent payslips and details of your employment arrangements. If your income or hours vary, your adviser can explain what the relevant lender needs to see.
Your deposit or existing property
For a purchase, consider your available funds and the costs around buying. For a refinance, bring your current loan details and property information so we can work through the proposed change.
The loan alongside everyday life
Look at repayments, fees and useful features alongside your regular expenses and debts. If you’re refinancing, include the costs of switching in the comparison.

Any profession-specific lending option must be checked against current lender policy and your circumstances. Registered nurse status alone does not establish eligibility or approval.

The next steps

From your first question to your next home loan.

Start with your purchase or refinance goal. Explore indicative options, then work with the team on the details and advice that follow.

  1. Match

Choose your goal and share your financial position to explore matched loan options. These are indicative options based on what you tell us, not a recommendation or approval.

  2. Connect

Talk with the Wity team about your plans, work arrangements and next steps. This is a discovery conversation; credit advice comes later with your adviser.

  3. Plan

Your adviser explains your WityLoanPlan and recommendation at a Strategy Meeting. Review the options, costs and trade-offs before deciding whether to proceed.

  4. Settle or Switch

After you accept your loan proposal, we prepare the application and supporting documents for the lender. We work through its requirements towards your purchase settlement or refinance switch.

The lender decides whether to approve the loan. Accepting your loan proposal authorises preparation; it does not submit an application or guarantee approval or settlement.
