Home loans / Why Wity

A home loan decision you can understand.

Start with what you want to do. Explore matched options, work through the trade-offs with your adviser and keep your next steps together in your client portal. That is the approach behind Wity.

What the experience is built around

Useful answers at each decision.

Buying, switching and negotiating raise different questions. Wity starts with the job you need the loan to do.

Where do I begin?

A starting point that follows your goal

Choose buying, refinancing or preparing to speak with your current lender. The questions and next step follow that goal, so you can begin with the information that matters to your situation.

What do these options actually mean?

A clear line between matching and advice

Matched loan options give you an indicative starting point. Your adviser's recommendation belongs in your WityLoanPlan and is explained at a strategy meeting, where you can ask about the figures and reasons.

What will this cost me over time?

The trade-offs beside the benefit

A rate is part of the decision. Purchase funds, fees, features, switching costs and loan term can change the answer. The useful comparison makes those details visible before you decide.

What happens after the conversation?

A place to return to

Your client portal brings together the plans, document requests, messages and recorded portfolio information available to your account. After settlement, the Home Loan Review gives existing clients a place to revisit the loan.

Questions worth asking

Know what supports the choice you make.

A useful mortgage conversation gives you room to understand the options and challenge an assumption.

Meet the approach behind Wity
What is being compared?
Wity works with a panel of 45+ lenders. Ask which options are relevant to your circumstances, what sits outside the comparison and how the shortlist was reached.
What needs to be verified?
Your declared income, expenses, debts and property details are a starting point. Supporting evidence and lender policy can change the figures, available options and next steps.
Why this loan, and what does it cost?
Ask your adviser to explain the recommendation, alternatives, material fees and feature trade-offs. Ask for the current fee and commission disclosures relevant to your service before proceeding.

A lender panel is not the whole market. Indicative matching is not personal advice, a credit decision or an assurance that a loan will be approved.

The next steps

Know who does what, from the first comparison.

For a purchase or refinance, the journey gives each conversation and decision its place.

  1. Match

Tell us about your goal and finances. Your matched loan options are indicative and based on the details supplied; they are a starting point for a conversation.

  2. Connect

Talk with the team about your position and priorities. This discovery conversation identifies the next steps without a loan recommendation or credit advice.

  3. Plan

Your adviser prepares your WityLoanPlan and explains the recommendation at a strategy meeting. Review the figures, reasons and qualifications and ask questions before responding.

  4. Settle or Switch

If you accept your loan proposal, Wity prepares the application for lodgement. The lender assesses it; if approved, Wity helps coordinate the purchase settlement or refinance switch.

Accepting a proposal authorises preparation; it does not submit an application or guarantee approval. Negotiation is a separate service: you use your Negotiation Brief to speak with your current lender yourself.
